Even I, not exactly the best history student, have kept it straight between the independence movement and the revolution. One of my classes in the University (in the context of learning Spanish) was history. But I'd be stumped to remember it all. Except it seems that period 1910-1920 when power changed hands too many times to count. But don't ask me to name names.
Santa Anna stands out. I remember his lost leg and how he had it buried with full military honors. Unless that part is legend, too. Thanks for the refresher, Mike. But I hope there's not a quiz.
